He posted a trade on tf2outpost saying that this key was glitched so I added him to see what he would try to do, I knew this was an obvious scam but I just went along with it in the chat. There is a picture of the trade and the key that he had put in.

[TFTRG] Jezz : im selling it for 2 keys because i wanna get rid of it. aka i dont know which key in my backpack is glitched, luckily i only have 1 key in my backpack atm. and secondly, it opens normal crates, it might open robo crates, not 100% sure on that
