Dear Admins of Steam Rep,
I am almost positive most of you know me, and yes, I am actually appealing my Scammer mark.
Let me begin by telling you the point of the appeal before the end, I am not a scammer and I deserve a unmarking, The nerve I got right? Wrong, I was wrongfully marked.

According to the definition of scammimg, "a fraudulent or deceptive act or operation" someone had plan or done the act of scamming meaning to gain profit for something fraudulent , I how ever exploited a glitch in the game of Team Fortress 2, now this didn't go unpunished by valve, they treated the situation for what it was, a user exploiting a glitch, they didn't treat me as a scammer. So instead what they did was put me on a trade ban for 10 weeks and put me on probation, I honestly didn't mind that,I deserved it, but when steam rep gave me a MCT scammer and a SR Scammer mark, I was outraged, it was complete, (excuse my language), Bullshit. duping items isn't scamming anyone, and it doesn't make any sense that i'd be marked for it. Right now, I want to see Solid proof That I was scamming people, Did I gift out duped items? yea, did I sell any of these items for false profit? (Excuse my language again), f✿✿✿ no. So this doesn't make any sense that I was marked, in fact, I believe I was marked simply because the Admins of rep were too lazy to actually see out the "Duping glitch" that users exploited, and it was probably easier to just mark me and a lot of people as scammers, because it was simply easier. Now I demand a Unmarking, I am not a scammer, I exploited a glitch. I can get hundreds of people that vouch for me that i'm a honest trader, and marking me for exploiting a glitch was complete udder bullshit.​

Now I would Appreciate it if a Admin could read this and contact me, And I demand a fair judgment, no more bullshit. ​

I've know wazman for a long while, and he is a very trustworthy guy, he is the other owner of XIIHeart Servers, and he never allows any one to be scammed while he's around, he's even helped users understand prices with me by showing them backpack.tf and how it gives legit prices on items, and shows if a user is a steam rep scammer, he promotes this all the time, and he told the members that he was marked as a scammer, and they still trust him, they know that he duped a lot of buds but he would have never tried to sell them to profit, he is no scammer, and I know that everyone on XIIHearts Servers Support me when i say he's more trustworthy than any Steam Rep Admin.

This is not a rep thread. Posts made here by other members do not affect the judgement of the admin reviewing the appeal.

A great many people were penalized by Valve, and by SR following the "dupe glitch" incident. It is prudent to remember one thing does not affect the other, and that SR uses "scam" in a restrictive sense that it defines as per rules and guidelines.

As I understand it, from speaking to SR, they chose to evaluate individuals on a case by case basis. For example some tags were downgraded to "caution". I know SR struggled over how to treat this incident and did not take it lightly, and I believe "intention" was a prime factor in their consideration based on private conversations I had.

I am not part of SR Staff, but I do have close ties to them, and I can tell you this episode was not handled in a flippant manner. Posting here in the manner you have only serves to undermine your appeal. It is not my job to comment on your case, but I would rethink your approach, since most of us here understand the hard work SR put into decisions and investigation and bad mouthing them only serves to damage your chances of a proper hearing.

First let me say that I do appreciate steam rep, and I understand they put effort into the glitch event, I shouldn't have claimed so broadly it was laziness "only".

But, my honest opinion, rep didn't need to be involved, all the users that duped or received dupes were punished by Valve with trade bans and probation. Steam rep did not need to start marking the users as scammers, even if some were downgraded to caution, I do not believe for a second that every user was investigated by rep, there were tooo many people that were involved in the glitch, there is no way that rep was able to judge every user with fair judgment, they should have known that it was a "Valve" problem, other wise Valve wouldn't have trade ban anyone and gave the exploiters probation, they would have had Rep handle the marking of users if that was the case.

But they didn't because Rep is suppose to be used for handling "scammers" I use to report people to rep immediately after catching scammers, I never once reported a guy to rep for using a glitch in the game, I reported that stuff to valve. Even if they did catch users scamming, there were still users that were marked as SR Scammers falsely and weren't able to get a successful appeal on their marks, I was one, a person that duped but didn't scam. I tried to appeal once before, and I didn't come with an approach so solid, and straight to my thoughts like this, I was very careful with saying anything out of line, and explained why I should've had the mark removed, immediately they claimed I was scamming users, because people made false claims about me, and Rep went strictly on that to judge my appeal and didn't even bother to listen to me, even though no one could provide real solid evidence of me trying to scam or successfully scamming.

All I want is a right full judgement this time. that's why I included the no more bullshit in my appeal, because I already know a couple admins that disregarded anything I said about the case.

It seems more than a logical thing to do to warn users you HAVE been scamming (whatever your definition of "scamming" is), Valve has taken action against one of them, Steamrep did the effort to give the rest a tag aswell.
It's not up to me at all to judge you/this case, just pointing out you should at least be looked at with caution...

I do appreciate the work he puts in this forum, although that doesn't even matter. Might be a good idea to keep your insults in 1 to 1 converations instead of posting them on your appeal and making people go off topic!

I'd just like to personally note that wazman never impersonated ANYONE with intent to scam. He did change his name to "Acesgamer" for literally about 30 seconds as a troll. And then immediately changed it back. I am a witness to this. He just thought it would be a funny joke.

Firstly you are appealing on an alt. It is marked SR Scammer as a collateral find linking it to your other accounts. The accounts below are relevant to your offences.

These two alts were marked prior to the SR tags being placed on this alt account which you are currently appealing on. I will say, it does not look good that you would initiate an appeal with an alt. Procedurally, we solely handle SR and SOP tags here as well as legacy tags of defunct communities such as ASBO. With that said, we do not handle MCT and AF2 tags which your MAIN account holds, these tags must be appealed with the respective community as our guides quite clearly state this. You are marked as a result of these accounts, you must appeal with your main account to those communities.

When those tags are resolved at those communities, you may make an appeal thread here with your MAIN account, which by our tagging records is the first SR ID block of yours I linked.
