I had this guy as a friend from a previous outpost trade. He started messaging me saying his friend was selling 2 unusual's for a low price and asked me if I could help pitch in. He said he was paying for most of it and asked for my highest priced items, to me it made sense for some reason since unusual's are worth alot. I asked were his friend was and he said he was at a movie or something, I began suspicion and stayed awake for most of the night, he was still on my friends list, I guess I trusted him a little more since he hadn't defriended me. But I went to sleep awoke later went on steam and he was no longer on my friends list. And he had changed his profile from private to open and his motto is "ahhhh you looked!". I then looked through his profile comments and one of them was of a person I'm guessing was asked the same thing as me, and is going to be scammed soon. Please help I got scammed of alot of things I worked my ass off for. I have all of his potential names.

Hello there! Thanks for submitting this report. Do you have any chatlogs of when you talked to him?

I read the description a couple of times but how did you exactly get scammed? Can you please attach (via Upload a FIle button) your Inventory History if you traded with him? Thanks!

He said that he was going to buy 2 unusual's from a friend for a low price and asked if I could help. So I did, I gave him some of my items to help with the trade. Then he defriended me and changed his name to TOM TWINKLES, as seen in the trade history. I really need those items back, would there be any way to get them? I can't provide the chat though, unless there is a way to view it without him being my friend.

I also know another person who got scammed by this guy. His name is Pie Knight, he has a profile picture of "treetrunks" from adventure time, just message him if you need to confirm him being scammed too.

I also forgot to mention that he said he was going top give me one of the two unusuals, that's how I got scammed
