    As far as i am aware sharking and/or using fake rep are neither ban-able offences nor issues of which steamrep deals with as this sites main priority is to shun out scammers and fraudsters, not to prevent future scams. It's your job and other members whom do trade with individuals such as this that you double check and ask for hard evidence of his/her rep rather than allow yourself to be misled in the moment. Please provide further evidence to suggest an attempted scam or this case with undoubtedly be put to rest.

    The listed scammer called StockMan is not marked as a scammer but the way he is gaining positive reps is fraudulentand SteamRep does deal with that issue.

    The screenshot shows StockMan claiming to give anyone an item if they give StockMan positive feedback on his profile.

    Gaining positive rep when you have not traded anything to the person is an offence in SteamRep. The person receiving fake rep along with the person giving fake rep can both be SR TAG or CAUTION TAG.

    You are not allowed to fake rep traders and not allowed to gain fake reps. it is important the community is aware of anyone who is actively trying to/gain fake REP

    A scammer will build up fake rep to be able to gain trust from big potential traders (especially ones that involves money).
