Description:

KAOS added me via Steam to inquire about a stormy veil I have up for trade via Outpost. He supplied a rep thread, and asked for me to go first. I didn't notice the fake, but similar url (http://forums-sourceop.com/ instead of http://forums.sourceop.com/). When I inquired about this, he immediately removed me from his friend list.

If you are able to purchase buds or be willing to go through a source op middleman, I would be more than happy to trade. I can knock down the price to 180 even, but that would be the best I can do. I was stupid enough not to notice the link issue. He scammed me. I can only assume there's nothing I can do about it.

I am sorry to hear that Pavlos. I did notice that Jeepcap in his inventory. It's a shame that people like this exist.

Ouch. I would submit a Steam Ticket with more information and links to these threads (Should be 3 different threads by now). I'm not sure what they can do, but maybe you can get your items back.

Thanks, went ahead and did that. From what I know (which is little, I have no idea if people ever get their stuff back) steam don't really deal with refunds for people doing cash trades. I'm hoping the fake website might make a difference though.
