    Description:
Not an enemy spy messaged me saying they added a secret skype item to TF2, he claimed he had to send it over skype for me to receive it and then when I launched TF2 it would say I received a promotion item.
I knew this was bullshit since there had been no new promotion items added in the last week or so, and there had definitely not been added a skype item.
But I added him on skype anyway, since I was curious to see what he was trying to pull off.
After I accepted his friend request he said he now had my IP address and that he would ddos me if I didn't give him any items.

I forgot to copy the chat. So I hope the screenshots will be fine.

Just a heads up regarding the Skype stunt he tried to pull off of you, I apologize if it's off topic; Whenever you give people your Skype information, always be weary that a small percentage of people who have Skype installed have some sort of Resolver [Which can get your IP address and make you vulnerable to denial of service attacks]. There are multiple tutorials out there that block some incoming requests for the resolvers, I recommend you take a look at that. But the downside of some resolvers are that they can only function if the user is online. Another way to counteract it (may work) is going Invisible. Thanks and have a good day

Yeah I know they can get my IP from skype. But I use skype maybe once a month so I'm not to worried about them getting my home ip. Not to mention that whole thing with "It's one of my brothers friends that do it" just seems like a huge pile of bullshit.
But thanks for the tip nonetheless.

3 years and counting. I wonder if this is going to beat some kind of record.

Well that 3 years should haven't been 3 minutes - this report was invalid right from the get go... threats for hacking completely goes against what we accept/review reports here for.
The threats are also something we don't review - tell Valve instead.
