    Hi,
The tag MCT SCAMMER is added to me because my account was previously hijacked by phishing. They used my account to try to scam other people at the same time stealing all my items. About 1 and a half week ago, steam support has solved this problem and helped my retrieve my account and items. However, during the process, the hacker used my account to hijack other accounts.

Here is some information copy+pasted from my steam support ticket. I will also attach screen shots and the support ticket number.

I am currently unable to perform trades on TF2 Outpost and other websites due to my tag, please consider my appeal and I am truly sorry for the inconvenience caused by my mistake.

    Thanks,

    Sincerely,

    Jason

Here are some extra details if they can help.
A guys named ★AnImAl★ added me as a friend, he told me to add someone called "GG" and his apparent reason was he was offering me a trade with my items. He gave me an address, I went on to the address. The main website was "Steam" so I didn't think it was going to be a complete mess. I added him and tried to log in, however, it saids I need to verify my login position/location "this is very normal for me, because I am normally very careful and tend to never press/check the remember my account/password box." However, this time, I did not receive the verification email. My client has also been logged out at this time, and very sadly, I can't log on anymore because my password is incorrect. I then sent an email to my hotmail [email protected], however, i didn't receive it. I received an email change email instead, that saids the contact email has been completely changed. Now I know its game over, they have my account completely, and their email bound to my account. I used my brothers account, logged in and checked on my inventory, and all my expensive items were lost.

I have worked so hard for the things in this account, as I charged cash in the steam wallet, traded for months and years, I certainly don't want this to be how it ends. If I do in fact get my account back, I will be extra careful, and some thing like this will never happen again. I certainly hope this helps, and am desperate for a reply.

    Thank you

    Jason

I have identified my mistake: This is their "FISHING" site http://steamcomnunuty.com/id/proplayer99/

A very stupid mistake, however, it did cost me.

    Hope this helps

    Hello Jason,

Thank you for contacting Steam Support.

    We apologize for the delay.

We will investigate this matter and take appropriate action.

We have reversed the trades committed by the hijacker on your account as a one-time customer service gesture. We will not restore items that are hijacked a second time. Please follow the link below and take the prescribed steps to ensure the security of the account in the future:

    TITLE: Account Security Recommendations
    URL: http://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=1266-OAFV-8478

I have reset your account password and sent the new login information in a separate e-mail. Please login to the account using the new password.

Note: The new password consists of all numbers.

Once logged in, please change your password and validate your email address. This will ensure that you will be able to use the Steam account recovery tool in the future to save time if you need to reset your password. This process is outlined here:

Title: Resetting an Account Password and Secret Question
    Link: http://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7058-AFZC-7069

For security reasons, password resets prevent the account from trading for a period of time. If you change the password while logged into the Steam Client, your ability to trade will not be affected.

If you do not receive the e-mail and you are running a Spam filter, check and make sure the e-mail is not being filtered as spam.
