Description:
I was advertizing I was buying keys/earbuds for pay pal cash no TF2OP (http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/7612637). I was added by the scammer (http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198077993258) shortly afterwards. He wanted to sell me a pink bills + 18 keys for $30. Claiming to have rep, he wanted me to go 1st in the transaction.

I was a little suspicious of him, because he had a fairly new account (created on December 10, 2012) with less than 250 hours in TF2, and all of his rep seemed to me added very recently and very rapidly within minutes of each other (see http://puu.sh/1INBE and the other screen shots of his profile with fake rep added within the past few hours of my encounter).

I check his steam rep which seemed to be clean, but when I look him up on TF2OP he has been banned for being scammer alt (http://www.tf2outpost.com/user/238583). The moderator J-O-N attached a screen shot to his ban reason (http://puu.sh/1znAG), which I am assuming shows the other accounts/IPs this scammer alt was associated with.

Once I called him out on this, he admits to trying to scam me.

This occurred last night. By the time i got around to finalizing this report, he changed his steam name/avatar but not his custom url, displayed in the screenshots labeled Altered name/avatar profile with fake rep (1) & (2) above. Additionally, when he changed his profile, I noticed 1 more fake repper (which became fake repper 26).

While I believe that you couldn't hack your way through a piece of wood with an axe, it's not my place to judge whether or not you're technically competent enough to actually hack people.

If you actually read your offenses you would see that you had multiple reports against you from different people.

I'm not interested in you using your alts to try to convince me that you're not a scammer.

If you don't know how reputation works, then why are you using it and why are you refusing to go first because you have "more rep"? It is common sense that you only get reputation from people with whom you completed an actual trade. If we were to put down every single piece of "common sense" as a rule, you would be scrolling all day. If you don't know how rep works, don't use it and certainly don't claim that people trust you to go first when you don't have the slightest idea how it works.
