I added him and started trade. I didn't notice that he had "accidentally" traded me 2 Mega-Kills but he told me that in chat and offered to switch the Mega-Kills for the Announcer I should have had. However he claimed that he was unable to trade the Announcer directly for the Mega-Kills as "trade would not let him trade the same items". He then told me to trade back the Mega-Kills first, after which he'd trade the Announcer to me. I returned one Mega-Kills to him and he promptly blocked me. Now I'm stuck with 1 Mega-Kills which is worth a fraction of the Smeevil's value. Screenshots: Unfortunately I didn't manage to screenshot the chat logs as I didn't realise it was a scam initially and he blocked me immediately, but I have screenshots of his offer on Dota 2 Lounge (trading site) and my inventory history showing the discrepancies in the trades. His offer Note the 2 different items, one with "Mega kill!!!" and one without. Trade history The trade below is the first one in which he "accidentally" traded me 2 Mega-Kills, the one above is the second when I returned one Mega-Kills to him.
Unfortunately, since there is no log of the chat, our hands are tied. We will archive this report just in case this happens again in the future.
