What happened? Description:

rody12369, a stranger to me, came into a public chat (Steam Family Sharing chat), and began sending private invites to users in the chat offering games. He then made some offers in the chat which seemed suspicious, so I had a conversation with him. After the conversation in public, I brought it to the private chat again.

He attempted using a couple common scamming techniques such as saying he couldn't show me the game in the chat window. Then he couldn't show me the game in the trade window because he couldn't open one. Then he tried to make it look like he sent a trade offer a couple times by quickly logging off and back on. His attempts were pathetic, but I'm sure someone on Steam would fall for his "you go first" attempts.​
