Description:
The scammer found my post on tf2outpost and added me on steam. He offered his Strange Festive Huntsman for my Bill's hat so we initiated a trade. In the window, I added my Bill's, he added his Huntsman and I confirmed. He then said that he would "be right back because of a crazy roommate" so there was no activity for close to a minute. Then he switched his Strange Festive Huntsman for a normal version of it and also flooded the chat section with the user is ready/not ready to try and hide the item notification. I noticed his scam attempt and told him and he closed the trade immediately. As a result, I couldn't enlarge the window enough to take a screenshot. I did more research on his profile and I think I have enough evidence to support my claim.

In one of the screenshots, you can see he has both varieties of the Festive Huntsman. I also have a screenshot of the chat window before the trade was initiated. He was the one who contacted and messaged me first. In another screenshot, you can see that he closed a previous trade in tf2outpost probably because another user called him out as being a scammer.

The guy has tried repeatedly since his attempt on me. Once the victim spots the scam, he closes his tf2outpost trade immediately. For example > http://www.tf2outpost.com/trade/13846681
