TL;DR: Person claimed a regular, unique quality TF2 weapon is worth 3 EUR and wanted a trade that matches that in cards. Proceeded to do the same with Dota 2.

The accused contacted me while being in Steam Trading Cards group chat with him, asking me if I wanted to buy

I was adding people to trade cards with at the time, so I did not realize that the accused was not among them. I just saw in the chatlog, that he had even put an expired game (Airmech 2) into the trading window before. (No screenshots of that.)
After that hiccup, I played along to see how sincere his attempt to scam was.
