My name is Jochum, I am a Dutch student , I study Industrial Product Design and I am in my second year. I am a creative, technical, and entrepreneurial person.

This is reflected in my education and the jobs I have. I have registered my account on Steam 6 years ago and in 2015 I have set up my own giveaway & trading community (Steam group). In 2017 I had my own website built for this group. The group currently has over 110,000 (premium) Steam members and is therefore in the top 100 largest Steam groups. Within this group I have given away an estimated 2,000,000 games and I'm very proud about that milestone.

In addition to working on this group, I design E-Learning courses for a Dutch company. I can perfectly release my creativity and inquisitiveness in those courses.

I love nature and I have been a member of a Scouting club for 12 years now. I go to the gym about 4 times a week and have played football before. I easily get along with people and I enjoy working together.

Hopefully that will give you a picture of who I am.​

Why do you want to be a SteamRep moderator, and what makes you feel you're a good candidate?

I love to negotiate and that's why I created my trade group in 2015. With this group, I gained a lot of experience in trading on Steam and sometimes I had some problems with scammers. I noticed that Steam's official support is not as perfect as it should be and that's when I had my first contact with Steamrep. I would like to join the staff as moderator so I can help making Steam safe for fair traders.

I think I'm a good candidate since I have a lot of experience with trading and I'm very known in Steam's trading environment.​
