Well, may as well be honest here. My alternate account, primarily 'Super Super TF2er', was used for TF2WH impersonating. What I was doing was taking people's items and tricking them, simple as that. I have a reason that I hope is understandable. I have this killer friend, a real knockout, and I want to get her a fantastic gift. Considering I'm not old enough for a job, I turned to TF2 for my problem of being short on money. That's when I saw a message in my E-Mail inbox, letting me know that a YouTuber that I follow was scammed. He explained how he lost quite a lot of money, but made the mistake to saying HOW it was done.

Considering that I would do nearly anything for this girl, the cogs in my head started turning. My thought process was, 'Regular trading? Takes forever and the economy is dying. Nope. Scamming... Hmm.... Takes a few minutes, and you lose nothing (Man, was I wrong...)... Hmmm.....' So I tried it. I added a random guy and did what happened to the YouTuber. It worked, and I got about 5 keys worth of items. I was very surprised as to how easy it was.

I continued on for a few days, then went to go bump a trade on TF2 Outpost. It said I was banned. I instantly knew I had gone too far. I checked my SteamRep page, and sure enough, a big fat red X was on my shield. There was only one word in my head as I checked other trading sites, seeing myself banned. That word was 'Idiot'.

Now, I know that so far, I'm not really helping myself. Here's my appeal. I have about 1,000 hours on TF2, and I love it with a fiery passion. But with this giant red X on my account, as well as bans on my favourite trading sites... Well, it becomes hard to do much in the TF2 community. I realize now that this was an absolutely idiotic thing to do, and I request a lift of the ban on my main account (http://steamcommunity.com/id/maxplasma), but not on the alternate, I want it marked forever to remind me of what I did. I was under the influence of hormones when I made this decision to scam. If it would help, I can make video proof of me trading back EVERY SINGLE ONE of the items that I stole, and swearing ON FILM that I will never do anything like this again. I don't know if it would help, but I do have about two pages of +Reputation, which might stand for something.

As for evidence, well, I have none to support me, other than a picture of the girl I love madly, but I wont post that on here, I would like a SteamRep moderator or Admin to ask for the photo, as evidence.

Thank you for taking your time to read this, I hope you consider my appeal.

I think most of us guys can relate to getting head-over-heels for a girl and doing silly things. But we're not interested in seeing your "muse", as she's ultimately not relevant to your appeal. :)

SteamRep is about warning people about those who scam. Communities that wish not to have scammers around will often ban because of this. Even if somehow we could believe your story above, how would the community know you won't do that again for the next girl? Or some other reason not be able to control yourself? If you did it once, we have to warn people that you're capable of robbing others.

Change of heart is not a way to get unmarked as a scammer, sorry. Your appeal is denied.

Best of luck to you. Hopefully the next lady you admire won't drive you to become a thief. :(
