Greetings,
My name is Shoval, I'm 18 from Israel. I really like the field of mental health, psychology, and psychiatry. For the past four years, I have been collaborating with government organizations that deal with this area. Three and a half years ago, I started volunteering through Internet platforms in my country and in Europe to support teens who need mental support and share their difficulties across the Internet. If we talk about numbers then I can say that I have helped some 750 teenagers and adults (21+) to date.

For over four years I have been very connected to the field of gaming. To date, I have participated in dozens of communities in my country and around the world. Communities that are mainly about gaming and the programming world that I really connect with. I took part in senior positions such as Head Developer, Project Manager, HR Manager and more. I managed teams of up to 45 people.

I am currently in 12th grade and work as a senior consultant for a project in an organization that supports mental health among teens and adults around the world.​

Why do you want to be a SteamRep moderator, and what makes you feel you're a good candidate?

I can testify to myself as having a purpose and a natural leadership ability. I have both analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
My experience focuses on the area of mental help for people and teens, however, that experience can also be relevant to other areas in light of my managerial, operational and business skills as I have expressed in my areas of interest over the considerable time I have been dealing with.
I am looking for roles that have a responsible and dynamic character to best express my skills. This is why I think the role of the SR moderator is very appropriate for me. Since I knew that I was connecting to the gaming field and creating a steam account myself, I knew one of my goals was to also take part in SR. I think I can really contribute to this place, I have the motivation, the time and the abilities. Unlike a lot of people who only apply to have a cool rank next to them that will make them of some value to them I really want to donate my time and take part in things that can improve SR quality.​

Past administrative experience:

As I have already written, I have taken part in senior roles in communities and projects, today I serve as Head Developer and Community Manager in the Game Community at FiveM which has about 600 people. Co-Project Manager in a project on a game server at MapleStory and also taking part in a new, unofficial community of 27 staff members who are under my responsibility.​

Unfortunately, I do not take part in such communities.​

Have you ever been banned from another community? If so, what happened?

I have never received a ban in any community I have been a part of, at least not in the last decade. I don't know what was when I was very young, but I remember doing a lot of crap and not being aware of my actions.​
