Hm this site may sound suspicious but I looked it up myself and it doesn't seem to be linked in anyway to steam. It doesn't ask for any of your private information and just ask to send referral links to get free prizes. He may have been telling the truth that it wasn't a scam.
This site is similar to prizerebel.com You do serveys to get "money" and refferals help you earn more money. This is a legit site and is no way a scam OR a phishing link for that matter. I use prizerebel and you can get some cool prizes.
Ok, I was just unsure because I've heard about links like this and been warned about it so I thought I would report it. If this guy is not a scammer then I do not want him banned. If this is just some reward website then thats fine I guess. I just don't want the guy getting in trouble for not doing anything :/
I checked and it isn't in anyway related to steam, just looks like surveys and stuff. As suspicious as it seems, he wasn't trying to hijack your account. He was actually just showing you a legit site :/
