Hello, I am new to SteamRep so if I have made any mistakes in the format of this appeal please give me a second chance to fix them. First of all, because of my unique situation, I chose "BANNED BY SR"(I am labeled as "RAWR SCAMMER") as default because there was no option for my type of ban. I did scam an individual on a RAWR server, however, the RAWR website is unavailable/shut down and I was unable to appeal to them first, as instructed on the "HOWTO: Appeal BANNED and CAUTION reputation tags" thread. I am unable to provide details because it happened 1-2 years ago and I simply can't remember. I was just a kid who didn't fully understand the consequences of scamming. I am willing to make amends with my victim if somehow possible and will no longer abuse trading. Thank you for taking the time to read my appeal.​

The reason to close such is to keep things moving once a admin has done its due diligence to complete the required appeal information, and lessen the pile of open appeals. We cannot personally contact each appealer via steam or otherwise to ask them to respond on their appeal, due the volume of such.
The reason why the background check is only done after responding is to keep moving in appeals, and not have research work done when that had no merit (minimizing workload). There are enough other appeals that didn't lose their interest of trying to appeal, which then can be served faster this way.

Non-responsiveness by the appealer means for the admin that the appeal can be regarded as "loss of interest" and often a re-appeal will not be granted. This appeal will then be set Invalid, and archived.

-I see you had one or more Trade bans. What where those about, and when where those?

I only vaguely remember one of them that happened at least a year ago. I took someones gift wrap and ran. I was punished accordingly by steam and served my time for that offense. If there are any more trade bans, I simply do not remember them and cannot provide information. I understand that this trade ban and possibly other trade bans greatly affect my appeal and I am willing to take any necessary action to make amends.

It was a backup account I never used until a couple weeks ago when my main account(this one) was hijacked. Hopefully you'll have some record of this account being locked otherwise I can try and provide proof. I used the alt to check on my main account and what the hijacker was doing with it while it was under his control. I added my alternate account to my main accounts friends list, prior to it being hacked. The invitation was received by my alt account, but I never logged in to accept it and add my main account. When my account was hijacked, I logged into the alt account, accepted the invite, and proceeded to spy on my main account while it was under the influence of the hijacker. If needed, I can provide a ticket number to the ticket I submit to steam support.
