Created only to have a reason to bump an outpost appeal. Used to see if selling stuff on an alt worked.

I have successfully appealed my TF2 Outpost mark this time.

I accept all the listed offenses and am sorry for any indirect damages I may have caused. I am grateful that the policy changes make me eligible for an appeal.

Please let me know if there is an information I can provide that would be helpful to the appeal.

Before proceeding with the revised TWS appeal, will have to make sure/check that you are not laundering items for banned users as one of the offenses on your profile says, that is not covered and is still a taggable offense. Please note; I will try to at least make that determination soonish, beyond that, will be treated as a regular appeal.

You can speed along this process by providing as much detail as possible w/supporting evidence.

I think the laundering accusation refers to the trade that led to my first outpost ban. I had received a strange festive sniper rifle in a trade with a scammer and had listed it on the steam market. I do not remember at what point I found out the user I traded with was a scammer.
Sorry about the screenshots not being in the client. I couldn't think of a practical way to reach back 13,000 entries without using a chrome extension.

Has there been a determination made on the accusation of me laundering items for scammers? That seems like the sort of thing that would be easy to prove and been provided as evidence when I was marked. I'm willing to help prove my innocence but it is hard when it has been 9 months since the accusation and not even the supposedly scammer accomplice or the items involved have been provided.

I'm confident that marking reason #2

refers to me treating items acquired in fair trades with scammers as regular items and listing them on the market as I see fit.

I can summarize my trades with scammers/alts that I know of if that helps. Only for the Tosslecap and Scotch Bonnet I was aware the other person was marked beforehand.

    1. August 2013 - I traded my Unusual Janissary Ketche for an Unusual Honchos headgear. I'm pretty sure steam market didn't even exist at the time.

    2. December 2013 - I saw a Miami TC on the market but didn't have enough steam funds. I added the seller and bought it from them directly with pure. It was too valuable to relist on the market.

    3. January 2014 - I saw a Miami Powdered Practitioner on the market and added the seller to buy it with pure. I probably listed this on the market.

    4. April 2014 - The trade from my previous post, Unusual Heavy Duty Rag for strange festives. One of the festives was listed on the market.

    5. July 2014 - I bought an Unusual Fruit Shoot on the steam market without checking the seller's profile. I don't think I listed it on the market.

    6. August 2014 - I bought an Burning Flames Tosslecap on the market after checking that it was non-duped. It was too valuable to relist on the market.

    7. September 2014 - I bought an Aces High Powdered Practitioner on Outpost. I probably listed this on the market.

    8. December 2014 - After my mark, I think my only trade with a scammer was my Burning Scotch Bonnet for their Beams Scotch Bonnet + sweets.

If it's one of these trades that is the issue I can dig back and get a screenshot of it. (In chrome obviously, can you even jump inventory history pages in the steam browser?)

I was able to get screenshots for the trades I mentioned previously.

Is there any other details/evidence that would be helpful for disproving the laundering for scammers accusation?

I remembered that there is some evidence that I wasn't going around asking scammers to list items on the market. I have an old screenshot from when I tracked down the tossle's previous owner ( https://steamrep.com/profiles/76561197970418619 ) to find out why they had been marked after I had been banned from trading sites over the purchase. The screenshot and chat are nearly 4 years old so it doesn't follow evidence policy. This is the first and only time I talked to them so I can't have ever worked with them directly.

    You are tagged for:
After a review, you absolutely knew better, you have been a member of many trade communities at least as far back as 2012 (years before your tagging) you have no excuses for your actions. I have no reservations and it can be shown that what you did was knowingly with the intent to profit off of scammers and their victims. Saying that, I did not see that you were directly reported for scamming yourself. This leaves us with the revised TWS policy and if it applies to you. Revised TWS policy does NOT cover working with scammers in any capacity and they are many in the community that view your backhand trading with such users as working with them. SR requires proof of working with scammers, and in other cases, we were able to establish such proof, in your case, a strong inference can be made but cannot be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. The tag will be dropped by policy.

Please note, individual communities can ban users for any reason or no reason at all, and I hope they take a hard look at your repeated activities of profiting off of scammers and their victims, ban evasions, and make an informed decision about having you around. Additionally, you are unlikely to get any benefit of doubt for any future issues that may arise.
