    Appeal description:
    Hi there. Years ago on TF2 I did a silly trade with somebody where I traded a little less refined than needed and then went on. It was about $5 worth that I ripped somebody off. I would just like to be able to get my account back in good standing. I admit to scamming and I do feel bad for doing so. I would mainly like to be able to trade on CSGOLounge and I just dumped about ~$100 in my steam account for that reason - only to find out that I'm unable to do so because of something that happened a long, long time ago.​

    Is there anything that can be done about this? I've gotten pretty deep into trading and would love to use CSGOLounge but am still unable to do so. I am no longer a scammer scum, as I once was in my teen years. I am renewed.

    I would need help finding the victim. It was about 4 years ago and the item that I scammed was a vintage lugermorph. At the time I think that the item was worth CAD $10-$15, so I guess that retracts from my original statement that it was only CAD $5, my apologies for that. I remember the person who I scammed reported me to somebody who works for these forums, I got an add on steam telling me that I will be reported as a scammer and that's it. I'm unsure how to find the victim, but if I could find the victim I would either send them a $20 game on steam of their choosing, $20 in TF2 or CS:GO items, or $20 via PayPal.

    • Time already served as banned for the offense
    • Lack of other reports against your account
    • Lack of written SteamRep policies during the timeframe of the offense(s)
    • Lack of ideal evidence of the offense(s)
    • Repayment to the victim(s)
    Keep in mind that being reported for further fraud while marked with CAUTION will leave you with much less benefit of the doubt. Be very careful and open/honest in your transactions, and keep good records of large transactions in case there are any disputes.
