Appeal description:

Over 3 years ago I was successfully trading tf2 cosmetics without any problems for paypal. One day I met a seller that turned out to be marked as a scammer. I continued the transaction anyway. I was only trying to protect myself by initially getting a middleman and informing him that he was a scammer. The middleman backed out because of this and I agreed that if the scammer would go first we could continue. He did and the trade went fine. I then repped him saying maybe he wasn't so bad afterall. All I was doing was trying to watch my back and was ignorant of the no trading with scammer policy(no excuse, just what happened).

I made a poor judgement call. Please reconsider this mark on my account.​
