Appeal description:

Before I start: For the repayment, I chose what was most closely related to what happened. No trade happened and so nobody's items were lost. Though a fraud was comitted, I gained nothing. As you'll learn below.

The incident happened a very long time ago, my memory of it is a little faded, but I will try to go into the best detail I can.

There was a guy called TheDLC, who said that he would sell a strange battleaxe for cheaper if I went onto SourceOP and gave him rep. I admit to doing all that just so I could get the deal.

This was fake rep, and apparently it was enough to get me a Scammer tag, which was later reduced to a Caution tag after I posted an appeal in the steam forums (Which if you can tell me how to find I will do so) by an Admin.

Fact of the matter is, I don't trade anymore. I haven't been on a trading website in over a year. I recently liquidated all of my assets in my TF2 backpack, sold all my keys on steam market. I can provide proof if necessary.

Why do I want this removed? Just cause. I still play the game, and occasionally server admins will question me on my caution tag. It gets annoying. Something that happened almost 3 years ago, something extremely minor in contrast to other offenses should not be held for this long. Its unreasonable. Especially if I don't even trade anymore.

I hope you, the SteamRep admins can do whats right and remove the tag.

Her account is not an alt of mine. It has nothing to do with my steam account nor the situation being addressed.

1. No reappeals unless an admin specifically states one can be made in your previous appeal, this applies to tag downgrades as well.
