There may be more of my alts in existence but I 100% honestly don't remember their login details & I wouldn't have logged into them for years now. Many of these accounts have been deleted because I only created them to mess around with cheats in games, never for committing fraud against other users.​

Hello, I go by the gamertag of 2dles, or Sir Toodles.

I was marked as a scammer by steam rep because I supposedly was behind a fake TF2WH group that was scamming people. The original report lacked any evidence that I had done anything wrong or actually scammed anyone, other than my profile's existence as a moderator of the steam group, and that is because I never took items from anybody. At the time that the report against me was made, I was only 11 years old.

Being accused by all my friends of being a scammer was traumatizing, and really damaged my mental health growing up online. I was convinced I had done something wrong and incredibly shameful, but in reality, I was a victim. The person-in-charge of that steam group took advantage of me and used me as a scapegoat for all the blame of his actions, things I never committed. He scammed me for TF2 hats, which isn't much reflecting as an adult because I now know the hats were only worth pennies or maybe a dollar tops, but I didn't know that as a child and the feeling of being betrayed by a friend is a feeling that really hurts. To put what happened in a bit more context, allow me to describe a distinct memory I have.

Being very young, I didn't know much, but I thought I did. I remember a man named Marlon added me as a friend on Steam and asked me to join his steam group, and I didn't think anything of it. After a few days of sending chats back and forth, he realized that I was a very young person who he could take advantage of. He earned my trust by promoting me to "Moderator" of the fraudulent steam group, and I was very excited because I didn't see his true intentions. I didn't even know a website called TF2 Warehouse existed. I remember telling my mom ecstatically that I was an administrator for a big gaming group that had over 100 people in it, and I was being entrusted with moderator status. Not long afterward, the Marlon man convinced me to send a Scout cosmetic item to him in a trade offer, and that he'd give it back to me right after. Being gullible and immature, I did the trade. He blocked & removed me promptly, and left me with intense trust issues. I can't recall the exact date that this happened, but I believe it occurred before I was marked for fraud on SteamRep, because I only learned that I was banned after joining a TF2 server and seeing the title [SCAMMER] behind my name.

Being so young, I didn't know what to say in a ban appeal, I hardly understood what I did wrong. About a year and a half later, I mustered up the courage to write a ban appeal but because I had alt accounts that I forgot existed it was denied. It was a huge blow to my confidence when the admin who handled my previous case didn't care at all about what I had to say or the context of the original report. They just kept pressing me about disclosing steam accounts that I didn't know existed. I tried making another appeal 9 months later but it was denied because I'm only permitted one appeal, which seems unfair to me regarding my circumstances of being so young when the ban took place. I'm begging you guys to give me another chance at having a normal reputation on steam, I never had any victims to begin with and I've never had any complaints against me since that report.​

I'm now an adult and want to be able to move on with my professional life without having to worry that this unjust SteamRep ban will impact my future careers. If there's any way that I can talk directly to an admin so they can get a judge of my character/more information on my personal life in order to get this resolved I'd love to do that!
