    Appeal description:
    Hello, the thing is i got ban because of the something called "alt". As im guessing u banned this because u think its somehow linked to other account. Other account got me tf2 premium nothing more, i didnt scam or anything. I barely know other account person.​

    Cant remember everything because it happened along time ago. Like 4-5yrs probaly. He gifted me cheap "toki tori" steam game that it would activate steam or something. And after that tf2 premium stuff that would make it premium. Cant remember quite good. Sorry for that.

    After a detailed review, I find your story plausible enough to cast doubt if you are an actual alternate account of a banned user, saying that, willful sharing of accounts makes the accounts defacto alts per policy and are tagged as such. I do find the account was shared, but your explanation did line up with what we know as well. Our policy for defact alts is as follows:
    On one hand, probably not actual alts and I would grant the appeal, on the other considering the account was shared at one point, its possible knowing the past account credentials (and other intimate account details) to be able to recover the account fairly easily, (and why we have this policy to begin with) and by a scammer no less. If I saw any evidence that the account was shared longer then you claimed, I would have denied the appeal back in 2015 (and per policy, still have every right to deny now). All this time later and I am fairly still split on this case. Ill have a final decision within the next day or two.
