    Appeal description:
    I was going to do this appeal a while ago but figured since this dude has like 3 trade banned accounts (that i know of could be more lol) that i should just wait for him to get banned again before appealing.

    Back in december of last year I was added by a blatantly bought and botted account that was offering me $2500 USD for my tf2 inventory despite it being worth only $900 USD on a good day. I went along with his story purely out of boredom while i wait for a game to finish downloading. During the conversation I request he sends me a small amount of money so i can see his details before deciding if id like to take up his offer and trade with him (can be seen in screenshot) which has nothing to do with me sending him any items though if you skim through it without reading the entire chat start to finish i guess it could come off as that.

    This user has had many reports before and seems to be well known by valve themselves seeing how many community/trade banned accounts he has.

    (this one has the same communityid as the screenshot he provided in his report which also has him refund scamming people)

    I will happily refund the $2.83 aud he sent me if it balances it back out though the money as stated before WASN'T PART OF A TRADE IT WAS SO I CAN SEE HIS REAL NAME but either way its 2 dollars i dont care ill refund it if you guys want

    SR, by policy, does not consider appeals for RWC (Real world currency) related offenses. I find the payment was indeed contingent to the underlying trade (trade actually taking place or not is irrelevant) and without hesitation, the case falls under SRs; RWC related offenses policy.
    Even if not for the RWC policy deny, the appeal would likely be denied anyways for 1. Additional policy deny for failure to repay before appealing. 2. And no CoH demonstrated based on the rest of the appeal.

    Appeal denied.
