I recently had this report against me confirmed and SR banned:

I come asking you to please re-consider the ban verdict. Yes, it happened and it was bad - but I returned the item within an hour of it happening **and** this was literally three years ago. The person with the report confirmed I immediately returned the item, I was a stupid teenager back then (once again, literally years ago) - and a verdict was just decided on yesterday. I've been trading since then for the last two years and have an over ~1k$ inventory with literally no other incidents.

I'm asking you to please remove the steamrep ban, I don't trade a ton anymore but it just looks horrible. This was something I did years ago as a dumb teenager and I'm an entirely different person. I learned my lesson **that day** when I returned his item.

In all, I was only banned yesterday for an event that happened three years ago, and I had returned the item within an hour after a change of heart. I've been nothing but positive as a member of the community since, and I truly do wish to have this removed.

I'd like to add that the second post of my original report thread against me consists of me re-paying back the person I scammed and telling them that I felt horrible for even trying it, the victim has been repaid years ago. :/

I've been "tagged" with the giant "Unconfirmed report" logo for almost three years now, which is essentially the same thing. I also *immediately* returned the item before anything even happened purely because I felt bad about it and have had no issues since.

Do I really have to wait a few years? It's already been two and a half years, is there literally anything I can do? I can even add the victim and send him a few extra skins for having wasted his hour years back.

That's not what I asked for, and I'm not trying to be rude or disrespectful. I just don't see how I can't be forgiven for something that happened three years ago that I immediately made amends for. Even the guy who made the report accepted my apology and posted asking if he should close the thread. I've been tagged for three years, the tag just changed yesterday.

I'd prefer you not to outright reject it, obviously.

I understand that, and thank you for your time and even considering it, but a few years from now just seems like so long, as then we'd be approaching over half a decade since the incident, and I doubt I'll even be active trading by then. I was just curious if the fact that my report took so long to process that I originally had the "caution/unconfirmed report" tag for 30 months already had any impact in determining if it had been long enough.

Either way, take it easy, I know you're insanely busy on here and it's good work that you do.
