Appeal description:

Hello everybody, before I start, I was told to fix some minor issues, that I think have successfully been fixed . Thank you to You Are The One for helping me out with that, it means a lot.

Ultimately, I lost a bet on CSGOLounge and got super pissed for some reason, and decided I wanted to make that money back fast and quickly, so I tried the old trade scam thing. I did this because I was pissed at society, and life, and I myself fell to an old scam a few weeks before, and I just wanted to do something that would relieve the anger. I wasn't thinking straight, and the consequences of heart-break and upset it would result in if I was successful, so I went for it. I tried a few times, and gave up, not really expecting people to accept the trade, but nonetheless, because overall, I take full responsibility for the scam, even though no items were scammed in the end.

Now's the tricky bit. Why should you un-ban me? Ultimately, I feel guilty and quite depressed to see a big fat red mark on my SteamRep account. I've been scammed in the past too, and I know the ultimate displeasure of seeing your items being stolen from you. It sucks. I've been having a very engaging conversation with myself and realise that what I did was wrong and unacceptable. want to try and redeem myself to the community, as I really don't want to be involved in that activity ever again, as it is completely wrong and stupid. I want to be a better person, and to own up to what I've done. My brother, PuffZ, was also banned in the process, as he is considered an 'alt' by SteamRep.

Why are you on trade probation?
From my current knowledge of the situation, I was probably reported for said actions and therefore got banned, then trade probated afterwards.

Why do you have a pending report against your alternate account as well?
I'm pretty certain that my brother attempted scandalous activity before as well, as you can see.

Edit: you also did not fully disclose all your alternate steam accounts or accounts that can be linked to you, even if not yours.

Not sure what you mean by that, as I've listed all my 'alts' that I know of.

EDIT: I just remembered that I had access to one account that my friend and I once used, but no longer use it. I have completely forgotten the username/password and the email account it's linked to, but I take responsibility of that account, as I see you've found it.

1. Well no , I never did contact Steam support. But, I just assumed, as there really wasn't anything else that I could receive a trade probation from.
2. Yes. I should have said that I am certain, as there was indeed scandalous activity being participated in.

Sorry for annoying you by having you to ask more questions, it's a clear fault on my behalf. I also think there was some mis-clarification between both parties, as I'm getting a tad confused.

1. Why do you let him use your account?

1a)If you're referring to the "PuffZ" account, although it is considered an 'alt' it is technically my brothers Steam account.
1b)If you're referring to the other account, it was just an account that my friend and I both used in our earlier stages of Steam.

1. Does he still have access to your account?

1a) If you're referring to my brothers account, then yes he does.
2a) No, I changed my password on the other 'alt' account, so he no longer has access to that account.

1. What assurances, if you are untagged, do we have that he will not use your account(s) again?

1a) Well, I can't really stop him from using his accounts. If you're concerned about his access to my account, I can't guarantee you 100% anything, as is the case over the virtual power of the internet, but my best intentions will be that I try to keep him from having access to this account.
2a) I can't, as I have stated do much to reassure you, unless you think of a plan, you're going to have to, if I am untagged, given another change as a human and allow me to prove that I have changed as a person, for the greater good.

1a) Yes, as you've already seen. "PuffZ" (My brother)
1b) No he doesn't, thats why I allowed him access to my other 'alt' account

1a) I have asked him about it, and he did admit, clarifying that he was foolish to do it, and was not thinking straight.
2a) Not involved.
