    Appeal Reason: [Process] Mistake - Admin misunderstood evidence or made a mistake

    Previous Appeals: No, this is my first appeal here

    Alternate Accounts:

    Appeal description:
    Hello steamrep moderators,
    I have never submitted a appeal on steamrep, so I am sorry for anything I do wrong.

    Im gonna make some points here and I will explain them later:

    Main Points:
    - 76561198304876591 - "Necro Inv #23 Auriel" Is NOT my account and Is a bot account owned by CSGONecro the gambling website foundation. FOR ANY INQUIRIES regarding that matter contact the CSGONecro staff.
    - The user Mesh AGREED to test out the new inventory system we as in me and our staff [ CSGONecro™ ] are implementing on csgonecro. I would have never proceeded, If this user had any problems with doing so. IT WAS ASSUMED TO BE A SCAM!
    - I was a moderator at CSGONecro, and just got fired because of this report.

    Explanations:
    I recently got hired by CSGONecro™ to be a chat moderator on their website, and the devs have been developing a new system that allows users to hold their Items, they are gambling with on the website until the user wishes to withdraw. The benefit of this system is, there are less errors with trade offers and less traffic from steam that we generate, as trade offers are only sent upon request.
    - A SIMILAR SYSTEM HAS BEEN USED BY CSGOBIG™ > https://csgobig.com/ < AND WE DID NOT HAVE ANY INTENT TO COPY THEIR SYSTEM, AND IT WOULD NOT BE YOUR BUSINESS TO ASSUME SO <
    Since the system is new and our website has been running pretty slow lately compared to our other foundations such as CSGOAtse and CSGOWitch. We decided to take things slow and test out the system with users to see, If there are any errors with the system or the Items being supplied and sent. Im gonna mention this once again and keep stressing this throughout the whole appeal, THIS USER AGREED TO TEST OUT THE SYSTEM FOR OUR WEBSITE AS A FAVOR.
    - Issue regarding that bot account, that bot is an AUTOMATICALLY SETUP ACCOUNT THAT SENDS OFFERS UPON THE SYSTEM'S COMMAND. And Once Again, IT WAS ASSUMED TO BE AN ACCOUNT OWNED BY ME.
    I understand there is no way to validate the claims above, but I will present some server logs and others below for this appeal.
    The bottom log has been copied from CSGONecro Output Log for tradeoffer.njs
    [ E_error(e){
    {{
    u_tlink: https://steamcommunity.com/tradeoffer/new/partner=102462441&token=
    }
    }} ]

    As you can see the tradeoffer link he input into the system had the token missing, which meant the bot would not be able to send an offer correctly, neither would It be reachable. This is my one and only fault or mistake that I should have avoided. I asked him for the trade URL and that is what mostly led him to think, I am a scammer. I just thought he was new to the whole gambling website scenario, so I decided to help him and manually set his trade url.
    Proof the tradeurl was manually set: The bot sent an offer sucessfully [THE BOT'S IDENTITY CAN BE VALIDATED FROM CSGONECRO]
    Just to make things further clear, All the directions and procedures were present in my profile on what the WHOLE procedure was and how it worked.
    You might be wondering why is there a javascript command to test out a system, why could the site not have made a seperate page, well I wonder the same but those were the directions from my boss Ryan, his profile: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198079998328
    However, If the website has setup this procedure, I believe there would be a strong reason, and we should not question the site's work as It is their choice.

    Everything mentioned above is very messy and I understand, but I have never made a appeal report before.
    Please, do not hesitate to ask me for any proofs or questions about this matter, I am fully open to doing so.

    Sincerely,
    Jwolfie

    After a review of the report, I find it valid and the admin appropriately tagged you. In addition, nothing you provided supports your claim that you are associated with the service so does not actually back up your claim. The first benchmark you will have to meet is proving your affiliation with the service by having the steam group owner post in your appeal backing up your claim. We will then go from there. Formal two week notice to followup.
