This was an alt of mine used most actively between 2015-2016 I believe, used just to play on TF2 trade servers. I have lost the username, email, and steam guard which it is tied to.

Another alternate account which I do not remember the purpose of it's creation, but at some point or another I used it to trade with trading bots (such as scrap.tf or other automated TF2 trading bots) following my steamrep ban. This account's information and access has also been lost.

This was an account I created at one point in the past (before my original ban) in an attempt to run a fake csgoreaper scam, where I would impersonate a trade bot in hopes of attaining user's items. This account was never actually used for that purpose, and ended up being another account that I just used to circumvent steamrep trade bans I believe. Access to this account has also been lost for reasons similar to the prior two accounts.

I would like to say that for investigation purposes, if absolutely necessary, I most likely could regain access to these three accounts, it is just that it would be an involved process that unless prompted I have no interest in pursuing.

My younger brother's account, that is relevant to the case as per a shared connection (same household). Although at the time of my initial appeal I had access to this account, he has since changed the information and such to the point that I no longer have access to it.

This is simply an account that I family share with. I have no access to the account.

In looking through my account's family sharing settings, I found this account as well. This is my father's account, as he wished to use my library to play a couple games on his computer, but he hardly ever touches it and its lack of activity or history of doing anything reflects this. I do not have access to this account.

    Appeal description:
Just to make sure this appeal does not get rejected immediately for being a second appeal, I will put my accepted appeal review request at the beginning here: https://forums.steamrep.com/threads/appeal-review-for-76561198158698953-jazzerty.198747/#post-541901

Some time in 2016 I lost my CSGO backpack through gambling, which is a problem that I have thankfully since kicked. I was a 12 year old kid with no way of acquiring items or money legitimately, so I turned to scamming as it seemed like the only thing I could do. The scam was a fake website in which I would ask someone to deposit skins into a bot for testing purposes or some other excuse, and then block them and move on. It should be noted, however, that I did not manage this third bot account nor make the website. I was recruited into it by an individual that I do not have solid information on, but suffice it to say I was never the ringleader in this ordeal. After my reporting and subsequent ban in 2017, I stayed away from trading in both CS:GO and TF2.

As per point #9 in the appeal guide thread, I would also like to mention that I am in the process of making contact with the original person who reported me, both to apologize and offer some form of compensation should he want it. I would like to also point out, however, that since he caught on before any actual items were transferred, that having repaid him prior to the submission of this appeal does not completely apply I believe. Regardless, I am still making an effort to.

Now I am 18, I have a job, I'm in college, and most importantly understand that my actions prior were immoral. I am attempting to rectify the situation to the best of my ability (I am actively trying to find any bit of information regarding the person who roped me into this in the first place), and do not dispute the original report, as it is a completely deserved mark on my profile without question. However, I was also a child who needed to learn the hard way, and now I am a working adult who understands the work that goes into the items that I attempted to steal. I do not plan to re-enter trading or anything of the sort, I just wish to be able to use automated services such as scrap.tf or other similar websites, only ever with legitimately obtained items.

I have since reached out to the original victim, apologized, and offered repayment, which was declined. I am not sure of the policies regarding privacy and whether or not it is ok to disclose this information, but given the non-personal nature of this I believe it is ok. If it is not please inform me.

I would also like to add that in searching through my inventory history to try to find anything regarding the person who actually managed the fake site and pretend bot accounts that this actually was all localized to May 2017, as that is when I lost my items in gambling.

    Hello,
I have reviewed the report & all relevant information, and after said review, I will be unable to grant this appeal.

Fake gambling scams are premeditated, meaning that they take time to set up/plan to pull off.
Even though you may not have been the "ringleader" of this particular gambling site scam, the premeditated nature of your own actions, including telling the victim that it was "OUR site" and "WE will let you do this" means that you had ample opportunity to re-think your decisions before carrying them out.
In addition, wanting to be unbanned simply so that you can use trading sites/communities casts doubt on your claim of a true change of heart. I am glad that you say you now realize that scamming is wrong, and, regardless of this outcome, I hope you continue to keep a clean slate and to remain honest in your trading.

As such, this appeal is thus Rejected.

    Regards.
