    Appeal description:
    A while back, I had received a message from a random friend I had met in TF2 one day saying that my items had been fraudulent or something, in which he had recommended me to a different person, in which case I had been scammed, they had gotten access to my account and attempted to do the exact same thing to other people. I never messaged anyone trying to scam them, I tried after it all happened to message people the scammer messaged to tell them my account had been hijacked.​

    If you are claiming that your account was hijacked, you must provide the following:
    • Steam support ticket indicating you were indeed hijacked.
    • Exact dates (or as close as possible) of when you were hijacked to when you recovered your account.
    • Screenshots of your inventory history two weeks prior to two weeks after being hijacked.

    I don't know where to go for the ticket for the hijacking, all I remember was looking for help and all I could find at the time that Steam would not do anything if you had gotten scammed. The time I had my account compromised was roughly from March 19th until the 30th in 2019. I don't have screenshots of my inventory but I can show what I lost.     I don't know how to view my backpack history, I could only find the trade history. I also went and searched for the steam ticket but it just gave me the small list of things I need to do, which I did a long time ago. I never took screenshots because I never knew this was a thing. I'm trying my best to cooperate here just point me to where I need to go for these things.

    Unfortunately, without a Steam Support ticket verifying that you were hijacked, I'm afraid this appeal cannot be granted.

    If in the future you are able to recover the Steam Support ticket indicating that you were indeed hijacked during the time of the offense, you may submit another appeal.
