My appeal was denied (in 2017) for not supplying all of my alternate accounts, however at the time of submitting my appeal (in 2014) I was not using any of those accounts, and one of the accounts listed was created in 2017, which means there was no way I could have included it in my original appeal 3 years prior.

One of the accounts, 76561198043581951, was included in a follow up appeal I made the next year (in 2015), prior to the original one getting reviewed:

Which only leaves me with one other account, however as I said, I wasn't aware of it or using it at the time of my original appeal, as it was still an unused, limited Steam account back in 2014.

The admin message also stated that I since had several successful scam attempts, which was simply untrue.

I believe the only reason my appeal was denied was due to a misunderstanding from the large timespan between submitting my appeal, and the appeal getting reviewed by an admin.

It's also been close to 10 years by this point, I was not even 13 years old when I originally made my appeal, so I would really appreciate another chance at overturning the original denied status. Thank you.

Hey, sorry, I wasn't entirely sure which category this would fall under. My reason for choosing extenuating circumstances was because I wasn't sure I could personally pin point the broken policies in my case with the alt accounts, but if that's incorrect then I'd choose unfair or mishandled appeal.

My reasoning is the same as in the OP, at the time of submitting my appeal I was compliant with the alt account policy, however by the time it was reviewed 3 years later I had new alt accounts which I couldn't include in the original appeal. It seems like this is the only reason it was rejected, because to the best of my knowledge I never had any other scam attempts, and definitely not successful ones.

That might be true for one of the accounts (76561198043581951) however it was included in a follow-up appeal in 2015 when I went back and started using it, so I wasn't trying to hide anything, I was just unaware that I could also add it to my old appeal.

The other account (76561198005731759) was not used by me either up until 2016 or 2017 when I found it again, since it was likely even limited from using the Steam community at the time I logged my original appeal.

Not what I meant at all, I said it might predate the appeal, but I was still not aware of either of them as an "alt" account of mine at the time of creating my appeal. There was no lying, neither would there really be a point in lying from my side.

I tried to include as many accounts as I could in my appeal from 2017, but even noted that I could have missed a few just due to how many accounts I had.

Would like to apologize for that again and hope it can be overlooked, since it already had the banned flag at the time, it wasn't omitted because I was trying to hide it.

I don't believe #1 applies to me at all since I never lied during my appeals, neither did I intentionally leave out details.

Regarding #7 again I included all of the accounts that I used and had access to at the time of my original appeal (which was just my main account), I only started using those accounts following my original appeal, which went ignored for 3 years.

I wasn't trying to hide any accounts, which can be seen from me willingly submitting my alternate account in the 2015 appeal before the original received a review.
