    I have wanted to get this removed for a long time, because it is by far one of the most stupid things I have done. It was a singular attempt at a scam that happened 6 years ago now when I write this, at which point I was genuinely 12 years old. I attempted to appeal in 2017 as a change of heart appeal, which didn't get a response for a while so I responded to my own post in early 2019 as a "bump", which was responded to in late 2019 when an admin attempted to reach out to me, but I did not see this in time and my appeal was denied after the 2 week period they had given me. I then tried to appeal again in 2020 because I hadn't realised a rejected appeal meant I could not appeal again, and was then informed. I came back to this recently because I want to make a final effort to get this stain removed from my account, and I reached out to the admin who handled my initial appeal (You Are The One), who sent me a link to your 2021 announcement (https://forums.steamrep.com/threads/appeal-backlog-cleared.197527/) that said "we have decided to grant leniency to these cases in Appeal Reviews; if your appeal was denied for no response, without other reasons, you may request an Appeal Review", which I am hoping applies to my case. There are a few reasons I missed my opportunity to speak to the admin in my initial appeal. Firstly, because of how long it had been since I had appealed and the fact I was not related to the CSGO trading scene, or any trading scene for that matter, I had stopped checking the forum and to be honest most likely forgot I had appealed in the first place. I was added on Steam by the admin at the time, but I have never really accepted friend requests from people I do not know on steam, and since I didn't see the appeal in time I likely saw the request and thought it was a random person, and at the time I was not actually on steam very much either because I had been taking a break from playing games/ just being on my computer in general around that time. I am very sorry that I did miss the opportunity to speak to the admin, but I hope that you can understand why it happened. As far as I'm aware, the only reason my appeal was denied was that I did not reply to the follow up, there were no other contributing factors I am aware of. I'm not entirely sure what this appeal being granted does, but I am happy to re-do my appeal if that is how it woks. I hope I have interpreted this all right and included all relevant information, but please do add me on steam and reach out to me if you have any more questions. If this is not enough for my appeal to be granted, I understand that and will wait for the "Scammer Clemency" program that was mentioned in the announcement post. I don't believe that it is already in action, because I couldn't find it, but if it is and that is the appropriate place for me to appeal please point me in that direction.

    Taking the spirit of the policy you cited into account, with the explanation you provided, and the specific timeline I was able to verify in your appeal (bump after 2 years, first response 5 months after that bump), I believe it's plausible you genuinely did not see the update on the appeal, and then did not know the admin adding you was from SteamRep. As such, I am granting permission for a 2nd appeal.

    Because your claim justifies abandoning your appeal, you will effectively pick up where you left off. Keep in mind:
    1. Appeal reviews are not appeals. That means my decision does not cast judgement or review of your case itself, and hence there is no guarantee (or implication) of any particular outcome. Appeal reviews only determine if you qualify for a new appeal.
    2. Everything you've said so far remains on record. You will be creating a new appeal, but you're effectively picking up where you left off. For an abandonment claim like this, where there was definitively no mishandling or conflict of interests, your case is only re-opened, not overturned. Most other qualifying appeal reviews would recuse the previous admin and overturn their decision, but by standing precedent these specific outlined circumstances do not warrant that.
    3. You will not be given any further leeway with regard to absence in the appeal. Once you start your appeal, you will be expected to follow it, and respond to any questions within a timely manner. Failure to do so yet again may result in an unfavorable outcome, and you will not be granted another chance for lack of response.
    4. Circumstances in your appeal, including but not limited to lying or faking evidence, may influence your claim to clemency when that program is available.
