Just keeping this here just in case someone else does get scammed by him. I can't know if his steam key is valid, but his second move was to try to trade me some free games which come with signing up/installing some sites program. If the site/programs legit its like trying to trade shareware i guess, not that its a scam, its just stupid. Anyways I post this here just in case the next guy who gets his cd key finds its used or something.

Did he type anything afterward or did he go offline after that part of the chat ended?

Ah sorry he just went offline after mumbling more junk about those games being a good offer. Not sure if it was scam or stupid trying to offer freeware/adware from website as trade nonsense.

Since theres just no way to check a key until he gives you the entire code after trading, can't tell if he's honest or not, so just posted as evidence just in case...
