Description:
I was contacted by this user with regards to purchasing a pair of dirty buds. Buds that are not usable in crafting. I was unfamiliar with the price of these buds as I have never come across them before. He assured me they were worth 10 buds and only wanted half that in items. Too good to be true.
I asked if they came turned out to be worth less than 8-9 buds, if he would agree to trade them back to me; he answer was yes.
After we traded, I had a look at backpack.tf, it turned out they are only valued at 26 key, so it would appear they have been in fact described as "not usable in crafting". This is all on me, my fault for not noticing this. I really should have had a better look at them. And if its too good to be true, it probably is.
I just want to inform everyone out there that this can happen to you too. So do your research on items before you trade them especially items that are valued considerably higher when dirty. And never make a hasty trade.

Dirty, non craftable earbuds are a collective item since there are less than 100 according to stats.tf

Backpack.tf don't show prices of collectives correctly.

This ain't a scam and ain't a bad deal either. rejecting.
