It was alarming, so I took a screenshot. Nothing happened for a couple days, but then I saw that he no longer had the Scorching TC and now had a G. Energy TC like the offer he told me about. I checked the history and Foggy indeed traded with Korra, whom he knew to be a scammer.

Yes, I have traded with a known scammer. I bought into the story that I was told from him. I do not deny this and I do regret doing it now that I will potentially be marked for it. It's not something that I plan on doing again. I have in the past reported multiple scammers and impersonators.

I am prepared to take my punishment, there's nothing else really for me to say at this point.

I will actually go into more detail with the trade. Originally I was offered the Green Energy TC and the Flies Anger. Korra himself points out that he's been marked and refers me to his profile where I read his description. I believe the description and decide to try and work something out. Now the Flies Anger was not in his backpack at the time and was instead to be purchased from a friend of his instead for $650. I was thinking if the Anger fell through, I'd be interested in the cash instead. However, both the Flies Anger and the possible cash deal if the Flies Anger fell through did not come through, instead, he got the Purple Energy Brown Bomber. Now I quite like Brown Bombers, more so than the Flies Anger (I already own a Blizzardy Storm Brown Bomber). So I decided to do the trade with my Scorching TC for those two unusuals (no cash was involved at any point with this trade on my end). I know that the previous owner of the Brown Bomber sold it to Korra for cash. I was thinking since I was not trading with any cash and knew about the previous owner of the Brown Bomber and that it was sold legitimately with PayPal that I was going to be okay and not screwed over. However, now that I realize the ramifications of the situation at hand, I should have not traded with Korra at all and saved myself from all of this.

It was pure ignorance on my end and wish I followed my instincts and not my greed/desire for the offer. I'm willing to do what it takes, whatever it may be, to make it up to the trading community.

I'm sorry that I got myself caught up in this situation, and I'm probably not going to get any sympathy from the SR admins for this and I accept whatever tag may be placed on me.

The self admission is respectable, however, according to Steamrep FAQ:

This is your one warning. Any further trades with scammers will result in subsequent Caution or Scammer tags, based on the severity of the offense.

You are lucky Fog.

And like I explained in-game a moment ago, be VERY careful when you deal in HIGH VALUE items, it only takes a few seconds to check SR on a user as a bare minimum to ensure you are not directly dealing with a marked player.
