HELP! Scanning for Steam games updates

    Hello everyone. Every time I try to install or launch a game I get a box that says "Scanning for Steam games updates" and it doesn't go away even after 2 hours of waiting !! I have tried deleting the clientregistrey.blob,reinstalling steam,waiting, restarting steam, and deleting everything but steam and steamapps. For my internet I use a Ethernet AV adapter if that might help. If someone can help me please tell me what to do. Thanks !

    You'll need to contact steam support, by creating a steam support ticket on the website. It takes ~ 7-14 days b4 they respond.
