I don't have chat proof what do I do

    I got scammed and I don't have chat proof so my report I submitted was marked invalid. What do I do? Let the scammer get away with my items?

    We require certain things for evidence - otherwise people would be reporting everyone for whatever. You wouldn't like it very much if someone reported you here and didn't have the evidence to back it up I'm sure.
    You can still report them to Valve using the in profile reporting feature.

    Well even if there was enough for us to investigate and tag thru SteamRep the user can still trade - you need to report them to Valve if you feel you have enough to do so.

    Not really...while this is slightly off topic they might just close the betting side of the site. Which isn't really where the scammers are anyway; they're all over at the trading side of the site (which Valve does not have an issue with).
