1. There is no such thing as a "pending" ban or Steam admin. Anyone threatening your account is a scammer trying to scare you. Read more.

I just created a new account because I'm apparently being contacted by a steamrep admin, but I checked his profile on the site and it says he has no special reputation, I've been scammed recently and I don't want anything to happen to my inventory or my privacy.

If someone could confirm his identity as fast as possible, I'd be eternally grateful.

    His steam ID is 76561198063111879

You can do that yourself - put that ID in the SteamREp search box

I already did, I just thought he could have another legit account with the admin reputation and one of you may recognize this account as his secondary account

He said he's an admin, and that he's looking in my case, but I already realized that is his only account and that he is friends with my scammer.

At least you guys could put them both on some kind of special rep?

I don't see nothing wrong with the fella - you are making little to no sense.

Alright, so, I got scammed a while ago, and contacted someone in my scammer's family (lets say, her aunt or something) because he had his real name on his skype and apparently some "admin" on this site was looking up on my case because my scammer's aunt contacted him and he tried to make me open up links and fishy stuff and he finally just unfriended me. Aparently, the fake admin is friends with my scammer on steam.

Real f✿✿✿✿✿✿ shady, I'm sorry if I'm not making sense, english isn't my first language.

It's pretty simple, real admins will provide idenfication via SR, by simply telling you to check them on SteamRep. If no marking is there, they aren't a admin.

Personally I removed my marking, saw no point to it when I don't need to. I don't interact with any users via steam. I only use the forums.
In my example, it would be as simple as turning it on for me to prove I'm admin via SR's site.

Alright, thanks for the help guys, but, is there something you can do about people impersonating admins?

    Also, he's impersonating a bot:

    https://steamrep.com/profiles/76561198063111879?t=1463362752 << avatar use

    http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198063111879/namehistory
Also in screencapture for later reference: http://files.steamrep.com/1/2016/08/2016-08-02_04-10-53.png

"real" group, where he's NOT member of (at this time): https://steamcommunity.com/groups/kickbackbots
Kickback is apparently one of the targets for Valve's C&D letters (not sure if real, according to reddit etc): valve_2.png (click to enlarge)

So that account is a scammer account. Just not enough evidence, for we require proof of intend (chat to persuade ppl to get their items for their fake "trusted status") if its not a admin recognized by our site.

You can check any profile by following these steps to confirm they're an admin here. If you don't see a green "SteamRep Administrator" tag, and they insist they're an admin, it means you're dealing with a scammer.

Only Valve can do something about it. They're like the old phishing bots, they come in waves of thousands, all on brand new throwaways, and scam en masse until trade banned. We can only put up warnings, and can't actually trade ban or prevent anyone from impersonating admins. That has to be done by Steam Support.
