Yes, it's a phishing attempt. It's popular right now for them to use Google Drive to try to increase the appearance of legitimacy.

Use this website right here: https://www.virustotal.com/uk/ Very helpful

I know, it was merely a suggestion as it worked most of the time.

Most of the Phishing sites will redirect you here, but this one skips all that and doesn't waste time

They seem to be beginning to post on Individuals comment sections of their profiles and some incidents on the comment sections of Steam groups.

    I've seen them:
    - Directly via PM
    - Steam profile comments
    - On steamgroup comments
    - On steamgroup discussions
    - On these forums (we apply as many measures against that as possible)
    - On various trading sites.
basically everywhere where they reckon people trading will go, and think people with a bit worth having backpack or account will come.

The only advice that really works: do not click links of unknown people. Even not if you think its a image. Tell them to post it on a site, and then FIND IT YOURSELF. If you need to click on it to "open" don't. people can insert images easily enough with the img BBCODE tags to show them. If you need to click it to see.... and you still do so after reading this, then this was for nothing.
