    1) Applicant Name and Info: (copy and paste the usual several lines of IDs from SR profile)
    | steamname: Maddux
    | steamID32: STEAM_0:1:20658158
    | steamID64: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198001582045

    2) How old are you, what city and area do you live in?
I'm 19 years old (almost 20), live near the big apple (that's New York for those of you who do not live in the United States)
    3) Please tell us a bit about yourself (job, school, hobbies, other)?
I work all over the place really, mostly a software engineer. I'm the community manager for a video game company in Virginia. Basically what i do is set up, maintain and staff the community. It is the first company i'v seen that has taken such a strong interest in the community side of things, besides rooster teeth and Machinima. Hopefully ill have that finished up sometime soon. We are in the process of purchasing servers for team fortress 2, Minecraft and a large amount of other games. The EComerce side of the site is being programmed by one of the other developers on the job and should be done relatively soon. After that its full steam ahead. I think it would be cool to have an actual video game store affiliated with Steam Rep. I'm keeping the URL of the website private until everything is done. I hope you understand.
I'm currently in college majoring in Sports Medicine, hoping to be a personal trainer and a physical therapist once out of college. I'm an avid runner, football player and mechanic. I love to see how things work, rather than just seeing them work. Most of my time when not on the computer is fixing up some old cars (gotta love the classics). Desperately want a campanga t-rex to take apart and throw in a modified V8 in there, its going to purr like a kitten. Currently fixing a old Lincoln Continental for a friend, most fun i'v had on a car in years.
    4) Why do you want to be an SR mod?
The amount that Steam Rep has given to the community, its the least i can do to give back to them and make their lives easier. Coding the SR plugin, going through thousands of scam reports, keeping the community safe and fun to play in is a HUGE undertaking that i would love to be a part of.
    5) How much time can you donate to SR per week?
I'm not going to sit here and tell you i can donate 40 hours a week because i just cant. Possibly 5 hours a day. I understand if my amount of time i can be of assistance has this application declined.
    6) Do you have any prior admin experience, or similar, and please elaborate?
    1- KiwiRooGaming
I'm the website dev for kiwiroogaming. I came to dumpybear about 4 or 5 months ago i believe and offered my assistance on his website. Me and dumpy started out rough, there is no denying that and it was 100% my doing, but him and i are now some great friends and i love helping out the kiwiroogaming family. I help out with ban appeals, server assistance, just what ever needs to be done and i'm around, i lend a hand with. KiwiRoo has a great staff and we all work our hardest to keep kiwiroogaming a fun and happy place.
    2- TheSteamStream
This one is my baby. Its a charity live streaming website where each month a different charity is chosen and 100% of anything that month goes directly to the charity. Honestly, this group would be nothing with out wvus from dota2traders. She is the mother of this and helped out more than i can explain. For those who i invited to the stream, it had to be pushed back to the 27th due to a loss in the family. Thank you all who have taken an interest in TheSteamStream, it really fills my heart to see people grabbing onto this. I cant thank you enough.
    7) What do you foresee as challenges as an SR mod?
Honesty. Not on my end, but on people reporting/appealing. My first instinct when dealing with people is they are honest, not trying to deceive me. Its something that has screwed me over in real life. Its something i'm working on to fix, and i feel this position at Steam Rep would really help out.
    8) Can you accept the fact that you must enforce per SR rules and guidelines?
    9) Do you feel you will have any issues denying appeals or accepting reports?
    Not at all.
    10) Do you handle instruction and direction well?
    I believe so, yes.
    11) What do you feel are your personal shortcomings or attributes you can improve on?
My patience. I don't get angry or scream at people, i'm just not the most patient person in the world. I'll work with people and put on a smile, stay quiet but i usually get angry on the inside. None of that every shows to anybody else. I'm not going to "blow my lid" and flip out, keeping it inside and running it off is a lot easier than burning bridges with friends.
    12) What contributions do you believe you will be able to make to SR?
I feel like id be able to work quickly and diligently. I'm not saying the currently Steam Rep staff does not, they work hours and hours and quickly, i feel like i would be able to do the same is what i'm saying. I also dabble in programming, so hopefully i can assist with some backed work. I'm whats called a "jack of all trades but a master at none".
    13) Do you have any interest in eventually becoming an SR Admin? If so, what kinds of things would you like to do?
(Example- community relations, appeals, scam reports, etc.)
I would love help with community relations. I'v made quite a few friends and i feel like i'v gotten to know a lot of awesome people, and working closer with them would be amazing.
    14) Please list all alternate Steam Accounts by their ID64.
These accounts were testing some code i was working on. Left the project for now so they are just "dud" accounts.
    15) Do you agree to the Code of Conduct and agree to abide by it?
    16) Have you read the Duties of SR Moderators post and understand it?
    17) Do you have any questions?
1- If you think i can improve on anything on this application, or in steam in general, PLEASE do not hesitate to tell me. I'm understanding and want to build up to become a well rounded community member.

Haven't really worked on this in a while, i threw the extension together in a few hours and it helped me out because i have some crap memory and i figure others may like it.

My experiences with this user have not been pleasant. Between myself and my alts I have received multiple group invites from this users to random groups that I do not want to join. At the time, it strictly said on both profiles "do not invite me to groups... yadda yadda, etc." in big capital letters.

I think a moderator should be able to respect a user's wishes to be left alone and not invite spammed.

For that reason I can't say i vouch for this application.

Honestly, I didn't even read it

Thank you for your interest in being apart of SteamRep,

Unfortunately after an extensive background check that we do on all potential staff members we will have to decline your moderator application as It would look really bad for us to have a marked scammer as part of our team, seems you left these small details out of your application. We are looking for trusting users, and you lying on your application about your alternate account is not something a trusting user would do.

    Thank you.

Thank you. I thought new account, new start. I now see that is not the case. The only thing i can do is thank you all. The friends i'v made have been some of the best. I really cannot thank you enough. These last few months have been the most fun i'v had in a while and to see that go saddens me, but is 100% understandable. I realized that there is more i need to do than just play on steam all day, and with this marking it helps me with that. Now i can work more hours, get more done and generally have a better future. This is NOT basing those who use steam a lot, obviously you have found a happy balance between the 2, i have not been able to just yet. No more lying, no more deceiving, i'm done. I'v put to many people through this little game and i just dont want to play any more. I wish you all only the best, good luck to all of you.
