What are your community's policies on scamming & scamming-related activities?

Marketplace.tf handles a large volume of paypal/cash transactions and is a frequent target for fraud and chargebacks. We routinely ban users that issue chargebacks to us or attempt to sell scammed and carded items.​

API usage:

We use the SteamRep API and mirror all of their bans to Marketplace.tf so that they cannot sell or purchase items through us.​

Why does your community wish to exchange banners and become a Friend of SteamRep?

Becoming a friend community on SteamRep is the first step in becoming a partner and SteamRep staff have encouraged us to apply for a while now. We strongly feel that issuing these bans on SteamRep as well will greatly benefit the entire trading community.​

Marketplace.tf launched in October of 2013 and operates to provide traders the simplest and most secure place to buy and sell their items. We provide full chargeback protection to sellers and ease of use to our buyers with advanced search and no "credits" system to buy items. We have extensive experience handing fraud so I feel our site is a great fit for SteamRep friends.​
