Description:
I was playing on the dm_vikings_final map on a Multiplay hosted server, when this scammer randomly traded me. He wanted my Merc's Muffler painted Australium Gold which is 1.6 keys according to backpack.tf. In exchange he offered me 2 voodoo souls of Scout and Heavy which is 0.22 in total. He then offers a S.Neon Annihilator which is worth 0.11 - 0.22. He tells me "this for the scarf is ok" after putting his first offer back up. He's done this before for my Fast Learner although I don't recall what he offered. It really annoys me that people fall for these sharkers. Thanks for your time. -Venom

Hello there! Thank you for submitting this report. I got something to ask. If you gotten the chance before, when did he join Steam/join TF2? I'm not taking any side in this but it seems doesn't seem like he was attempting to scam you. Maybe misinformed about the trading concept or what to offer. Another thing. When you said "You've done this before" to him, did a separate incident which has occurred but not reported happened? Just a wild hypothesis, don't pound me in the ground rough if I'm wrong

I cannot find out when he joined :/ and yes he's done this before as mentioned in my description, he's tried to shark me off my Fast Learner. Also in game he has many miscs and hats so I doubt he's a newb.

This is hardly, and far from a scam. There's no real proof he was intending to "scam" you, possibly, maybe shark you, but he just looks like he's misinformed and new.

Also, hats do not = time spent played. They could be storebought, or gifted via a friend.

Unfortunately this seems to be a shark report, Steamrep doesn't directly ban on these kind of reports but they're appreciated. However I'll have to archive your report due to this.

I invite you, to report this kind of event into outpost and/or other trade servers such as Mann Co trading and Outpost, who handle them.
