    I'm really sorry to hear about your loss. I would recommend carefully following these instructions in any future trades. And for future reference, here are a couple of clarifications:
    • There is no such thing as "glitched" items that are risky or devalued. Anyone asking to "check" them is lying and trying to scam.
    • Valve employees have no reason to trade. They have full administrative control over everyone's inventory, and can do any "inspection" without even adding you. If someone says to trade with them because they're a Valve employee or "Steam Support", they're a scammer.
    • Valve employees will have this badge on their profile. If someone says they're from Valve, you should check for that badge.
    • We are not affiliated with Valve, and do not have any kind of special access on Steam. Nobody here can restore your items.
    As for reports, you should include a screenshot of trade history, and a screenshot of the chat. Just a copy/paste text log isn't evidence, unfortunately.

    What do you mean? The scammer probably gambled the knife off. Csgo.exchange can't keep a record of every backpack the knife has gone through.

    even on csgodouble sites in my trade history it says i've never traded with any of their bots. this is just fishy to me and seems not legit like csgodouble is farming free skins from poor commoners like me to make free profit in the end.

    and also Ive found out http://steamcommunity.com/id/Kenn_ has my items now and is friends with 37 banned people.

    Doesn't mean they're "farming" your items. Most likely they either don't ban for SteamRep tags (like much of the CSGO community) or the scammer dumped it onto an alt, and quickly gambled it. Could also have quicksold it to someone else, who gambled it.
