What happened? Description:

I apologize for posting such a report and I understand that this request could be rejected.

But i just want to point out that it is possible that through these sites you can use the stolen accounts to generate much more conflicts regarding the theft through steam trade.

These accounts can be used as bots for future attempts and I would also like to suggest a new "untrust" sign when someone receives such reports and/or more such reports.

I was doing my job on the PC when one of my friends on Steam suddenly sent me a rather suspicious message

telling me if i want to join his cs go team for a ... tournament ?

I don't know much but as far as I know, there are no such "tournaments"
I didn't want to play because i had other things to do at the time, in short, i really didn't want to play

in the end he still wanted to give me a link where i can join his team "anytime" to play later if i change my mind

simply, i logged out of the steam account and opened the link.
soon i noticed that the site is quite suspicious and ... "I bit the bait" so to speak

just formally, i didn't suffer anything fortunately

I told him i wanted to check the site before logging in

As soon as i told him that, i set up a second steam account to test if he was really stealing steam accounts.

after all confirmations from steam for making an account

when i pressed the login button, he asked me for the code on my mobile from the steam guard
hmm ... weird if i have steam guard off

then i tried to activate it with email verification
and ... you see, he was really asking me for the email verification code

I entered the code and ... nothing
nothing happened
unfortunately for him the site is broken.

returnable site puts two forms of https over normal https, so the site where the returnable value goes in the https site: //https/steamcommunity.com
so it's an invalid site

however, it is possible for this site to steal steam items automatically without the user knowing.
As for the account, i didn't have any items on Steam to be able to do this and to prove it.

In any case, i changed the password of the secondary account and deleted all the data from the browser to make sure it didn't inject me with anything.
