What happened? Description:

Hello, this might be a really a well-planned scamming scheme!

Okay, here it goes:

Someone added me with a steam link last few months: https://steamcommunity.com/id/Echo_103131/
Name: George (has good steam level and +reputations)

He often chatted me almost every week if I have the items to sell. Until yesterday, I decided to sell ONE item only.

Item is worth $60 in the steam market. He will pay it for Steam Wallet Cash.

Since I don't trust this guy, this guy suggested hiring a middleman (yes, I am a beginner with it and now I know that steam suggested not to have a middleman but it is too late now), which is his cohort in a scamming scheme.

He found it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamRedditTradings/new/

Of course, the website has many users, and this guy: https://steamcommunity.com/id/ExaellaOVAOfficial (our middleman) has good reputations too. So I trusted because he is one of the middlemen and moderators of the Reddit group.

The middleman works like this: He holds the items, until such time, the payment will be delivered to the seller, he will give it to the buyer.

And then, this buyer (george) sent an error message that he had reached his payment to $1000, and he can't send if it is not $1000 and above.

So the middleman suggested adding my items some worth $1000 for the assurance. And after I sent items to the middleman, they leave the chat and they block my message.

I already reported these two individuals in the steam and hoping for justice. In the meantime here, I just want to report these culprits. I really don't know if I can recover all my items in my special case.

Attached herewith are the chat conversation of the buyer, middleman, and both history.

Please ease my misery today.
