    Scam Report

Report Type: [Other] Any other fraudulant behavior
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561197960874055 (Denis)

    Victim profile: 76561198022666013

    What happened? Description:
Basically, "Denis", this random account that added me yesterday, says to add a person, because for some reason... they cannot add me. I wonder, okay. What is their Steam name? Of course, he sends a link...[http://staeamconmunity.com/id/garrytrader33/]..
that I already find suspicious for many reasons. 1) Random "Denis" when asked what the said person wanted to trade, he replies something along the lines like " Oh idk, he has X amount of buds, and he wants to make an offer." To which I then asked, "Are you friends with him?" and he says, "no." <-- Pretty much wanting me to add him through the link.. 2) When I open the link, you see the account of the person who "has an offer for me"(Which appears to be a fake account), but something seemed off. Hmm, I look at the top right corner, where I would normally be signed in on the Steam Website and ... TADA! "Login and Install Steam"... I am not signed in. Which again, to add this person that has the "offer", I have to sign in to add him, but since I am signed out.... I am suppose put my User and Password to sign in... good try. I just left the link open and went back to the page. I didn't not put any User or Password.
    3) Which I immediately notice after not putting any info in this Steam Website where I am normally signed into is... the page/link if you look carefully at the website it reads :http://"staeam"conmunity.com/id/garrytrader33/, yup, that's right... "STAEAM," instead of STEAM. At this point, I go to the actual Steam Website, and like usual, I am signed it.

Conclusion, the person uses this "Denis" account, just a random temp account, to get people who have valuable items to go to the link... add the so called person who wants to trade. And when the person, in this case the victim, goes to sign in, probably has a key logger, so it records whatever you typed and tries to take you account from there. Below, I will link the picture of the Steam Chat where he tries to send the link again, just like yesterday and then he just goes offline.
