What happened? Description:

This guy added me, no idea who he is (people simply add me because I have expensive skins) to supposedly trade his Twin Galaxies pants code H1Z1 in-game item (worth roughly $2.1k at the moment) for a Patriotic AR-15 H1Z1 in-game item ($500) and 50 cskeys ($150). This seemed skeptical, yet he had good +rep on steam. No complaints. Only thing that gave me a red flag other than the circumstances of the trade were he was designated as banned on steamrep after he tried to scam someone. Anyways, he asked if I had any trusting friends who would be willing to be a middleman. I recommended a friend with this steam id: http://steamcommunity.com/id/RTZOFFICIAL. He said okay, he then conferenced in someone who's name was almost identical to my friends except this new person had a period (.) at the end and the profile was private (my friends is not private). He then asked me to send my skins to this guy to verify i was willing to make the trade and then he would send me the code. At this point I knew it was a scam, but i played along for a bit and then finally confronted him. He proceeded to block me and my friend, as well as make his account private. I recorded my screen the entire time, and i explained in the video what happened (as I have done in this paragraph) at the end. Update: steamrep doesnt accept videos, i am taking screenshots of the conversation instead. Also my real friend was on a skype call with me the entire time.​
