What happened? Description:

I was to trade Mad222 my csgo knife (Butterfly Knife Night Field Tested) for a $150 steam card code that he had purchased from G2A. When i sent the knife the code he gave me did not work and was invalid. To start off with he sent me his twitch and while streaming showed me his paypal which had about $3,500 in it to prove that he was legit. He then asked other members in a Facebook group that he invitied me to (it was a trading group with about 13,400 members) if he was trustworthy in a post and they all said yes (Mad222 is Giorgi). He also provided me with pictures of himself, gave me his phone number, and a picture of a drivers license which is not very easy to read. I am not sure if they are real. I then contacted somebody on his friends list who he was trying to buy from as well to let them know that Mad222 is a scammer. I had added this person previously in hopes that they might be a previous trader of Mad222 and to let me know if he was legit and trustworthy, turns out he may have been Mad222's next victim. To go back i had listed my knife on the market and this is how he found me. We had no friends in common previously. Lastly he blocked me on steam, unfriended me, and removed me from the FB group. I have screenshots of everything from chat messages to the trade offer to the facebook group and his "proof" of legitimacy, 31 in all.
