What happened? Description:

This person added me on Steam because both of us joined the same gambling site (Gamdom) and he appeared to have monitored my profits for a while.

He then presented himself as a marketing manager for several gambling websites and offered me a sponsorship in terms of site credits. He then contacted me via voice chat and Discord to portray that he could be trusted.

He then requested me to submit the site cookie ID (Inspect, Applications, site Cookie ID on Gamdom itself) to him (instead of SteamID64), reasoning that "this method allows the site to generate the credits for you".

After doing so, he then told me to deposit at least $2000 worth of skins on the gambling site (no phishing link involved, since the site was opened on my browser) in order for the sponsored credits to be updated on my account. He assured that they could be withdrawed to remove the withdrawal limits.

I made a deposit and right after that, I got logged out. Immediately I realized that I was scammed when I cleared my cookies and relogged in to the site, only to find the site balance wiped out.

So the items were not transferred to him via Steam, but he exploited the Chrome cookie ID in order to transfer from my account balance on Gamdom to him.​

Unfortunately, I am not able to produce additional evidences because they were all removed (Discord chat deleted by the impersonator so I didn't manage to screen them on time), however I have sent a few emails to Gamdom support on the case.

Not meaning to slander but I've been scammed over $2,000 by this person.
