What happened? Description:

So my friend was suspicious about this trade, his Karambit Doppler for a Karambit fade that was 90/10. So he called me in for assistance, we got on skype and was very cautious about clicking stuff. So he said my friend should trade me his Karambit Doppler so he can confirm that it is real.
After that he changed his name to the same as my friend ( the owner of the Karambit Doppler).
He sent me a trade offer but I denied it because im not stupid enough to trade blindly. On skype my friend told me that he did not send me a trade request even though I got one. On the fake acount he didnt even have the same games as my friends. We did another test where my friend opened the csgo client, ( making his user name green ) there was no notification on the scammers account that he had opened CS:GO, he didnt even have the game. After that I told him what was the password, ( the password was california, inspired by a failed scam attempt video on youtube). He obvisouly didnt say anything because he knew he was caught at this moment. Btw this is failed scammed attempt lol​

Scam invesigation pt.1 -
In pt.1 you can see the scammer sending a friend request, I accept and he tells my friend to give me the knife. My friend asks the scammer that can I trade the knife back to him, the scammer says yes.

He tells me to hold on and not give the knife back to my friend ( potentially to stall me so he can change his user name ).

My friend opens the csgo client, on SS #3 you can see the green name to be the real one and the blue one to be the fake.

He sends me a trade offer for the knife (on SS #4 his name is his regular name idk why), I didnt respond to it and I give my friend the knife back.​
