    Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
    Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561197961731862

    Victim profile: 76561198263743672

    What happened? Description:
    Yesterday, I was added by a profile that was impersonating a user named NeverFakE, which I didn't know at the time. about 50 minutes ago, this user started sending me messages to trade for my medusa, linking an opskins store link. Being on mobile, I opened this link on my browser with a VPN, and it asked me to sign in. I did, and as soon as I went to the link, I was signed out. Confused, I tried this again. Only when the user told me that I needed to disable 2-factor authentification did I realize that it was a phishing link, and i unfriended and blocked the user.

    Keep in mind that all this happened on mobile. Also, I was not successfully scammed, but since this user was impersonating another user, I'm reporting them. I don't want anyone else to get tricked by this.​

    You can report the user to Valve
    In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT
